Does anyone know what bus to get from central Birmingham to Harbourne? Am staying down Broad Street and planning to check out the pubs in Harbourne. Cheers, Ray :)

Certainly do.

Buses to Harborne High Street from Broad Street are:

10H to Quinton
22 to Kitwell
23 to Woodgate
24 to Woodgate Valley North
29 or 29A to Northfield

It's not far and you won't have to wait long.

If you are coming right into the centre and then heading out to Harborne, stops AB, AC and AD on Colmore Row (adjacent to Temple Row where the Old Joint Stock is) are the ones you need. The buses make their way along Broad Street on route to Harborne and beyond.

I have had a couple of good days at the Birmingham fest. Worked a hit list Thursday then mopped up what I needed from the upstairs bar today despite sitting downstairs - is it right 30 minutes of walking works off the calories of half a pint. The number of times I have been up and down the stairs over the past couple of days must have been a good workout.

Going to finish off the locale bar tomorrow. It has been a good one.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the Brum Beer Fest, was there Fri and Sat, very enjoyable! Just a quick question about the PG meet up in Nottingham this Friday, is anyone welcome as I'd like to come along and if so, where do you meet and what time?

All are welcome. The cunning plan is to meet in the Vat & Fiddle (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/31141/) between roughly 12 and 1pm, Roger B is getting to Nottingham about 11 and heading for the Company Inn and anyone travelling via London may be on the same train. Most of the Midland people appear to be leaving New Street on the 10:49 getting in just after 12.

The main thread about it is here (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?8008-PG-Meet-up-2011) with a proposed itinary.

Come along! We've only met up once before and everyone got on really well - we all have a common interest so it wasn't difficult.
