I have written a fun quiz and will be presenting it on Saturday, sadly it is in a Methodist chapel, in Lichfield, so no MILD:(

hardest thing was trying to spell the countries

Damn phone  I'd got to 144 with three minutes to go:moremad:. I wouldn't have got there though. Modern day Central Europe and the Balkans, let alone the old USSR are quite beyond me, plus, as Hondo says, spelling some of 'em is tricky.
But, it was good news. me dog, nay bitch, is coming home this afternoon and she's going to make a full recovery. :)Which is just as well for Pet Plan, as the bill is already over £2700 and growing. When our Dorcas does something, she does it proper. And yes, you've guessed it,:cheers: I'm about to pop a Beast:drinkup:..........

She loves the stuff, they both do, cost me a fortune they do...Thinks, maybe Pet Plan, a sort of therapeutic thing...... I've got one now, why not, their both asleep. After all, Tescos keep selling, so I feel honour bound to keep drinking it..........

The stepson got me to put four legs of spittin, scratchin, hair covered fury in a cat cage so he could take it to the vets. £70 later I asked him what the problem was. Fleas !.

Just tried it - scored 103 but should have read the rules first - wasted the first minute trying to fathom it out. The most common country I missed was Israel, the least common I got was Solomon Islands although I would have got Burkina Faso had I known how to spell it.

Just done the urban areas - 71/129. Most common answer missed was Bedford, least common answer I got was Bury St Edmunds. Good old Greene King comes in handy sometimes!

My very first answer was my own home town, Tamworth! Naturally of course..

A bump for us late comers.

Great test, I scored 30 as I was distracted by Croc Dundee, but I will try again!

100/195, btu it wouldn't take Greenland (I suppose it's a colony of Denmark), any of the British protectorates or Bosina (it wanted Bosnia and Herzogovena). Fun though.

Here's another I saw recently, might be of interest to Hoppy among others.

Warning: includes clubs in their various and previous guises.

You will also be amazed at some of the teams you leave out!

Good one - I thought it would be easier than it was - scored 57. The most obvious one I missed was Cambridge United. The hardest one I got was Redbridge Forest.

57 isn't bad, I've been following Conference football since it started (with a couple of gaps as my team dropped down), and I only managed 69. I even missed Luton.

RogerB

Dartford were only in it for a couple of seasons (he says giving one of the harder ones away) before being relegated and eventually forced out of the pyramid altogether so most of my non-league viewing has been at the levels below Conference. Barring a freak set of results that would have everyone looking to Malaysian betting scams, in a couple of weeks time we will only be 1 step away again!

PS what happened to the happy dance icon!

For a subject on which I ought to be relatively strong, I was gutted to only manage 15!
I need that 3rd cup of tea...

I managed 23 but missed some real sitters. I also wasted too much time trying to work out the format for various kings (William IV / 4 / 4th etc) only to find none of them ended up in the final list!

I was surprised that King William IV wasn't there along with Horse and Groom. I got 17 with a moaning child in between me and the keyboard!

I got 23 as well. I was surprised that The Victoria and The Albert weren't in there either.

Having got White Lion and Red Lion I was a bit peed off that I didn't get Golden Lion!
