An early nomination, but on the evening of the 1st of September all the real ale ran out at the famous Philharmonic Dining Rooms (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/26783/).

That's ten handpumps with all the clips reversed - beat that!

I've been to the Philly a couple of times when they've only had 2 beers on and one of those was Deuchars.

But none!! that's impressive. Love the pub, hate the queueing and quality/number of staff. :mad:

Always end up round the corner in The Fly, which is no bad thing.

Sounds like a runaway winner to me. Unless there was something seriously wrong with the cellar, that's quite shameful.

I thought the main reason for going to the Philharmonic was for the gents toilets rather than the beer....

Dreadful really. I've never known even a JDW get that bad, and have always thought Nicholson's a better run chain than JDW.
