In answer to another thread about Birmingham crawls, Digbeth was mentioned.

I can only think of four real ale pubs in Digbeth - The Anchor, The Lamp, The White Swan and the Spotted Dog. I know Hennessey's has started to serve real ale, but I've never been in.

Its been a long time since I have really 'done' Digbeth.

Apart from the four pubs I've mentioned, where is there worth doing down there?

Reading the latest copy of Out Inn Brum, the CAMRA magazine, the Wagon and Horses now serves real ale and Horans has reopened as the Eagle with four ales on. So, that makes seven pubs for a real ale crawl.

Mmm, could be an interesting Saturday afternoon out...
