I'm not sure where the Fleet Street element of the address for the Banker comes from - it is nowhere near Fleet Street!

The pub is in the City near Cannon Street station and the full address should just be The Banker, Cousin Lane, London EC4R 3TE.

Hi RogerB,

To try and make the London places more accessible to us poor idiots who don't know the big smoke we have broken them down into postcodes, then as the postcodes are a little dry and unreadable we have given each postcode a name to try and make it more identifiable, if memory serves we just used Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/London_postal_district#List_of_London_postal_distr icts) as a reference. Anyway, the long of it is that as The Banker (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/23509/) is in EC4 it shows up as Fleet Street, which is our interpretation of EC4. That part of the address is just plucked out of our database, where we have stored it along with other pubs as being in EC4.

Hope that explains that one a little.
