What more fun than getting in the old jalopy and heading out into the countryside for a few pints? Perhaps that it’s beer always tastes best when you’ve done a few miles behind the throttle (http://refreshingbeer.blogspot.com/2011/07/pedalling-towards-pint.html).
Even now, despite all the closures, there are loads of characterful pubs out there that are just waiting to welcome the touring drinker.
