Hi Conrad,

I have just added the Gold Cup in longsight in Manchester to the site but i think i may have put the wrong post code for it,when i added the pub the map point for the pub was a long way from where the pub should be,i have moved the map point to where i think it should go but would like you to check the post code.

The pubs address is 260 stockport road longsight and the post code i used was M13 0RB.

Thanks Alan

Hi Alan,

Dave has reliably informed me that this pub is already on our listings as The Derby Hotel (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/18713/).

I have no idea what he is on about so I will get back to you on this.

Hi Conrad and Dave,

The link to the Derby Hotel takes you to a pub in Burnley and that pub is not the one i tried to add to the site yesterday.

The Gold Cup is a long standing pub and i think it is still open,i have travelled up and down stockport road too many times to remember and there is definatly not a pub called the Derby Hotel or Arms on stockport road in longsight, levenshulme or ardwick, unless it was pulled down before 1986.

Thanks for taking your time to look into this pub.

Cheers Alan

Yes Alan, the Gold Cup is still there, i went past it a couple of weeks ago and i am pretty sure it was open. The pub is already on the site and is very close to The New Victoria on Stockport Road.

Ok as might be expected I rather incompetently misread the email I had from Dave, it is on our listings The Gold Cup (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/25944/).

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your help Wild Rover and Conrad,

The reason i could'nt find the pub was because it was on the chorlton on medlock sub list and i always thooght the pub was in longsight,i have added itto the longsight sub list but still left it on the chorlton on medlock list as i thought it wrong to delete off this list.

Cheers Alan

Don't worry Alan, they're both in bandit country and no-one but a dedicated Pale Rider such as yourself will visit. :ninja:

Cheers Rob,

I will go ahead and take it off the Chorlton on Med list.

The same goes for the Big Western which i added to the Moss Side area and i think you put it under the Hulme list, that pub is definatly in Moss Side and it was one of the most frightening pubs i have ever been in but as usuall i was pleased to do it.
