Pub Sign Man (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/userinfo.php?name=Pubsignman) has posted the details of this festival (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/beerfestival/showfestival.php?id=1435), which takes place next Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10th to 12th June. The key day is the 11th, when the ten pubs which are taking part in the festival are linked by vintage buses to make a spectacular pub crawl.

I described 2009's version (see Welland Valley beer festival (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/crawl/viewcrawl.php?crawl=742)) and unfortunately couldn't make it last year, but this year's promises to be better than ever. I've just got the programme-cum-bus timetable, and there are going to be at least 173 unique beers and ciders across the 10 pubs. In 2009 several pubs were dry by about 5pm (it was a warm day), so I don't know what they did about Sunday!

If you're within a bus or train journey of Market Harborough next weekend, I suggest you give it a go.

(Programme costs £1.50 from participating pubs but you can get it by phoning Alan Carr at the Talbot Inn, Gretton on 01536 771609. It costs £2 which you can pay over the phone using your debit card.)
