Marvellous! I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of HSB, but when in Rome...!

I'm already regretting asking but... Eh? Are you getting your Harveys & Gales mixed up there Quinno?

Ah... Harveys Sussex Best, I've taken my coat & already left.

OK, so Eastbourne is this weekend coming (presuming Clapham Junction hasn't burnt down by this stage).

Jym, Strongers, are you still coming?

Anyone else?

Not for me, beyond my comfort & easy travel zone I'm afraid

I've only just twigged that your visit coincides with Airbourne (not sure if you planned it that way?)... My two brothers and the old man are down from London and we will be in town most of the day, but we will be drinking along the seafront watching the displays rather than crawling the pubs. You're welcome to join us at some point if you want.

Could be a noisy crawl, I bet whoever goes will just have to look up

2011 will see the iconic Red Arrows leading a packed programme featuring the best of the RAF and international display teams across the eight miles of seafront and over national beauty spot Beachy Head.

Flying displays include the RAF Red Arrows, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, F16, plus parachute display teams, wingwalkers, helicopters and aerobatic teams.

......or you can watch the live stream through the website from Thursday 11 August.

Or for those in the west, how about Bournemouth?

Anyone know if there's a regular bus to Willingdon or Beachy Head? I have a Plusbus and am determined to use it!

If you walk down Terminus road next to the station you will see lots of bus stops with buses heading in every direction. Be careful as many routes finish around 19:00/19:30 and a lot are hourly.

Willingdon isn't actually that much of a walk from Hampden Park Railway Station which is the stop before Eastbourne.
