Hi Conrad,

I've submitted a new pub, The Greenman at Fownhope, but I'm now having doubts about whether it should be The Green Man. I've spelt it as one word because that's how it appears on their website (http://www.thegreenman.co). On the pub itself the only wording is an almost illegible scribble, and although the pub sign is clearly a depiction of a Green Man, I couldn't make the letters spell anything other than the nonsensical "GillMGin", when I was there last week. (Take a look at the photo I've submitted and see if you can do any better.) With a good deal of squinting and a lot of imagination, it could be a capital M in the middle of the word(s), but is there a space? Perhaps I should stop worrying and go down the pub. I leave it to you whether you change it to Green Man or not.

Cheers

Hi sheffield hatter,

You worry too much :), if it is wrong they will correct us. The logo (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubpictures/73930/) is a little special, but having been primed I can read Greenman in it. Given the obscene size of the a I think the m is a lower case as the second bridge is running at the lower height and has a join leading into it (rather than being a starting letter).

Thanks for that.
