It is in my semi local Spotted Cow (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/14107/) but the only time I ever watched it the landlord gave out the glasses free, obviously you had to hand them back at the end

As I only visit lunchtimes this may have just been an aberration

Maybe pay a fully refundable deposit of say a tenner?

As a grumpy old git there is no way I would pay for the glasses, I would rather dig my eyes out with a hot spoon

Amazon are selling very basic ones at £3.99.

I regularly watch football in 3D inside a football ground. It's amazing, you don't need special glasses or anything.

One pub nearby charges, I think, a refundable £3 on glasses if they are showing a 3D game. I'd rather watch in regular view than bother with all that (though I've never seen owt in 3d) - it's especially annoying when that channel is left on showing summat in blurred-vision with nobody in 'the glasses' watching.

I gave the 3d football a go in the Elephant in North Finchley. I ended up spilling my pint in my lap so I'll stick with the normal TV in future.
