Due to a lack of buses i had a dissapointing wander round some of my local pubs on Monday , Ringwood Boondoggle and an iffy pint of Shires Shropshire Pride which had a banana`ish taste:confused: were the only beers of note .
Much better last night
Shardlow - Spring has Sprung
Exmoor - Houndog
Three Tuns - Clerics Cure
Summerskills - Ninja
Three Tuns - Mild

The Ninja was an intresting beer , quite fruity but the Three Tuns Mild is leader at the moment , only 3.4% but full of flavour

Only one to choose from this week but no complaints as BOTW is the none too shabby Oakham Bishops Farewell.

I've been a bit lapse on my botw nominations recently but a return to Sir Loin of Beef in Portsmouth found Flowerpots Goodens Gold again on fine form. It just beat Oakham Holehearted which started the day well, at £1.79, in the White Swan.

An excellent week for good beer, Pictish Black Diamond Mild, Darkstar Hophead, Blue Monkey 99 Red Baboons and Marble among the best of them but BOTW is Thornbridge Kipling

A busy week with quite a few pub visits. Finally got to the Euston Tap where I probably had the 2 best beers of the week, Marble W90 just finishing a tad behind the Camden Town Inner City Green.

A very quiet week, with only four ales tried:

Cropton -Royal Union.
Ossett - Silver King.
Bob's - White Lion.
Great Heck - Voodoo Mild.

Easy winner was Ossett Silver King. In fabulous nick and just the type of beer you want on a hot afternoon.

Not a quiet week for me at all.

Not only Halifax Beer Festival, but both the Pump Room & the Three Pigeons had their own festivals on as well.

Strangely though nothing really hit me with a WoW even though everything was fine and decent.

At the fest Arkwrights Trouble At Mill, Hopping Mad Balmy Days & Mr Grundys Passchendale were the best of the bunch for me.

BOTW is going to go to Banks's Ruby Mild tried in the Regal Moon on Friday. Dark, tasty and smooth, just what a mild should be like.

Don't worry ROB it's not you, the 'A Swift One' blog said pretty much the same thing.

Very late submission from me ,but my BOTW was Saltaire Trio Pale ,a very refreshing light ale which went down a treat in The George ,Croydon last Saturday. It held its own after a very swift Thornbridge Jaipur IPA ,it was a well crafted pint.
