Thanks for the link ,hondo.Sounds like British Waterways is getting a reasonable return on its recent pub acquitions.Hopefully they will knock those pubs out at a reasonable profit in years to come,because there is now a serious backlog of maintenance to do on the canals,and owning pubs is not their core business.

Doubt it will make much difference to the pubs in question,the ones I've been in are hardly traditional boatmans boozers.
