They managed to miss out all the Triple FFF ones!

Does Morrissey/Fox count?

Being a Joy Division/New Order fan, I always wanted to see a dark beer called Unknown Pleasures. Also, the track on Movement called ICB (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Movement_%28New_Order_album%29) that people think stands for Ian Curtis Buried? Nope - it surely must be Ian Curtis Beer :)

One of my former BotW's - Hopdaeman INCUBUS.

Then there is John (or Sam) SMITHS.

Wells Banana BREAD Beer

There was a beer by Wadworths in 'Spoons Festival last year called FAIRPORT Five in honour of Fairport onvention.

Further afield you could have Mathews Southern Comfort or a shot of Jaggermeister.

Dark Star (http://darkstarbrewing.co.uk/about-us/): "named ... after the music of The Grateful Dead". Not sufficiently knowledgeable about the band to to know just how closely its 'named after'.

Aaah - there you go. Wikipedia confirms a song by The Grateful Dead, entitled "Dark Star".

Also a half-arsed Britpop band of the same name, did a good track called I Am The Sun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apoMw7OD-Nc). My missus quite liked them.

I saw them supporting Ultrasound at the LA2 in '99! They weren't the first though - there was a "New Wave Of Heavy Metal" band in the early 80's called Dark Star - they did a great track called Lady Of Mars which can be found on the legendary Metal For Muthas album. Just off to get my anorak.

Not my strongest subject, few are, but I believe East Street Cream might score two bands in one pint!
