Anyone going to the excellent Leicester beer fest? We will be there Thursday, Friday and possibly Saturday too before the caravan goes up to York for 4 nights from Sunday for a look round the pubs up there again.

Want to see what is happening on the station with the new Tap in progress, and believe there may be a new brewery to pick up somewhere there.

Wow! That's some list. I don't think I've ever come across one with so many new breweries and untried beers.

We will be going for the local bus in an hour and will be supping a few of those new brewery beers today.

Leicester is a fest I never want to miss for the superb ale choice.

The Tap is still at the planning stage I doubt there is much to see at the station yet. The Junction Brewhouse is up and running although the beers were still a bit "trial brew" when I was there a couple of weeks ago, First Class was my favourite on the day.

Leicester fest has been so good I can't think of anything strong enough to explain how good it is. The venue, the seating, the food and best of all the beer choice and condition make it a must visit for me. So many folk we know from all over make it a great social occasion too.

Won't book anything next March till we have next year's Leicester dates sorted.
