The Westwood Inn (Halal Inn) Oldham- closure

Hi Conrad And Dave

The Westwood Inn closed in 2004,and in December 2007 opened up again as The Halal Inn, which became Britain's first alcohol free Islamic pub.However when i was on my travels yesterday noticed the pub sign was absent and shutters were up.

Hi Wild Rover,

Depends on who's definition of pub you believe. I think on this issue it was decided that dry pubs were still pubs and I think we do have a couple on our index.

We have corrected the name of The Halal Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/13107/) and marked it as closed.
