Conrad,

I took a couple of photos of the former pub on the old A5 between St Albans and redbourn when I was passing the other day. However, it doesn't seem to be listed on PuG. It was the Punch Bowl when I used to live in these parts, but changed its name to Spritzers in the 1980s, Fudge in 2003 and 24-7 in 2008 (all this is according to http://www.redbourn.org.uk/Redbourn/PunchBowl). Unfortunately I can't find the postcode for this building so I am unable to add it and upload my photos. Can you help?

Cheers

Hi sheffield hatter,

Thanks for the excellent research, I reckon that is AL3 6RP (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=al3+6rp&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=St+Albans,+Hertfordshire+AL3+6RP,+United+Kin gdom&gl=uk&ll=51.778037,-0.378535&spn=0.009545,0.01929&t=h&z=16&layer=c&cbll=51.779375,-0.380772&panoid=tMtPy3vgKnFpgLEJhkwsGg&cbp=12,91.47,,0,7.3).

Hope that helps.

Thanks Conrad.

I have added it as The Punch Bowl even though it had two other identities before becoming the 24-7 Club. The road leading to it from the Hemel Hempstead direction is called Punch Bowl Lane, if that's justification enough for you. The building is looking sadly delapidated now, so I'm not sure if it's even functioning as a club.

Cheers

If someone is concerned they can tell us to change it. As it wasn't even listed before I am not too bothered.
