Just over 2 months ago I promised that this post would be up within a few days. So apologies for the 'slight' delay. I'll hopefully get back on top of it today with a few posts!
In October 2010 there were 197,000 visits to the site, so fairly well down on the peak in September but still nicely up on the 132,000 in October 2009. The drop from September was due to lots of ongoing changes in the way Facebook was sending us visitors, around midway through October they made a change that meant we were only getting about 500 visitors a day compared to a peak of around 10,000!
Activity for the month on the site was:-
3273 photos of 1633 pubs
1741 reviews added of which 823 were virgin reviews
471 new pubs suggested of which 449 were approved and 274 are open
549 map points corrected
435 web links suggested
525 new users joined
20 beer festivals suggested
205 pubs reported closed
47 pubs reported open
This compares to October 2009 when we had:-
8746 photos of 1786 pubs
616 reviews added
319 new pubs suggested
404 map points corrected
244 web links suggested
136 new users joined
21 beer festivals suggested
The forum had 1784 posts, compared to 722 in the same month last year.
