Floozy & Firkin (at 743 Chesterfield Road in Sheffield) was the name of the former Woodseats Hotel from 1996 to 2000. It then reverted to The Woodseats but has since closed. See http://www.thewookie.co.uk/pubs/woodseats.html for details and photos. There are entries in PuG for both Floozy & Firkin and Woodseats Hotel, but no photos or other info on either. As the last name of the pub was The Woodseats, perhaps you should delete one entry and rename the other before marking it as closed. Can you pinch the photos from the link? Just a thought...

Hi sheffield hatter,

We have set it so that the only listing is The Woodseats (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/43462/).

Thanks for that.

Hi Sheffield hatter,

I will put a photo of the Woodseats on Pubs Galore i did a fairly large pub crawl round Sheffield in 2007 and i think i went in all the pubs in the woodseats area of Sheffield on that day.

 Alan.

Thanks Al. Nice one.

I've just taken one today of the Woodseats in its current guise as the Viraaj indian restaurant. Not sure it's an improvement!

Conrad,

I wonder if you could back-date Alan's photo to show that it was taken in 2007 rather than 2011? If that is possible, there's another that he took in the Walkley area of Sheffield, showing the Blake Hotel when it was shut. Unfortunately he didn't upload it until after this pub had reopened, which leaves a misleading impression to uninformed users. Hope this isn't too much trouble.

Cheers

Hi sheffield hatter,

Changing picture dates has been discussed on other threads (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?4004-Closed-pubs-any-point-suggesting-them). Technically the system can handle different dates, but we have to make the changes to the individual records which isn't a very sensible way of doing things and is very time consuming (similar issues to the area work). Most of Al's photos are old (not a criticism) so we won't be doing it at this point, it is on my list of things to come up with a solution for.
