Whatever happened to...

I've just spent the last few hours going through my reviews held on the mass migrate tool and tidying them up for posting. I've been dipping in and out of the Other Site to get the score I originally submitted, and had a quick read of some the reviews from around the time I posted.

A name that kept cropping up with good reviews was Topdog Andy. Whatever happened to him? Did he make the migration over here? I recall he occasionally posted on the old forum before the trolls took it over.

Forgive me if he has reappeared under a different guise and I haven't :twigs:

Al, that does not answer Spinko's question. It is all to to with another pubsight which involved a great many of PuG members migrating to this site. After you have spent so much time and effort in a site as many of our present members have done for it to be rubbished it leaves a sour taste.
I was one of the many who migrated to PuG and very glad I did. PuG is a well moderated site, flame wars are un-known and the considerable effort by members appreciated by the site owners.
Personally, I would like to see the past laid to rest. We have a first class site In PuG. Conrad and Dave listen to our ideas and are strict on moderation. We have a wealth of information, knowledge and experience amongst PuG members. PuG is the best , let us all endeavour to make it even better. ........You know it makes sense.:D

Although, that can tell barely a fraction of the story. It's very dull for people who weren't there (a bit like Clive Dunn and the Fuzzy Wuzzies on Dad's Army)

My reply was a bit tonge in cheek i know all about the problems that the other site is having but personally i dont want to get involved with any of it.
I can also understand if you have put a lot of work doing reviews and photos on the other site you will be angry at what has happened i would be just as angry if this site went into meltdown with a load of idiots putting stupid reviews on and also rubbishing any decent reviews that were made by people like yourselves.
