Blimey never heard of Trivago, but they've ripped off a review (http://www.trivago.co.uk/london-38715/bar--pub/the-gunners-pub-1084442), kind of!

It's actually quite entertaining Googling your user name followed by the word pub! (http://orangetreepub.com/Aboutuss.aspx)

The food and drink critic reviewer in the Bristol Evening Post/pisspoor has reproduced almost word for word several reviews from the other place, some by me and some by EG.

It’s not really acceptable. I’m sure that there would be a few comments if Conrad and Dave started quoting reviewers from other sites in order to bulk up this site's contents.

Yep, just did that, Conrad will be pleased to hear top 3 were PuG listings with real name, and 3rd with forum name

Factually incorrect of course as I don't smoke......

It is very scummy really, in this instance it has been nicked from BITE. Very dodgy practice though.

Thank goodness for a name that is quite ambiguous. I can pretend I'm a Greek letter at least!

I've slowly come to hate my username. When I first chose it, I thought it was unique and I was being frightfully witty. However, it's obviously been around a while and used so commonly when talking about beer these days, as googling shows, that I despair. May have a re-think in the New Year.

C'mon, old son, so folk keep talking about you, what's to get upset about. Like the song says, 'Stay as sweet as you are'.:drinkup::drinkup:

And me! I did e-mail him about it (not that I really mind) and he said that he sometimes used the other place for inspiration!

Does any of this surprise you about the Evil Post? I remember the shock on the vendors face when they did a door to door trying to get people to take them for free and I explained I would never read it and it was too rough to be of any other use.
