As requested here with Unknown closed pub at 4 Netherton Road, Worksop (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?4737-Unknown-closed-pub-at-4-Netherton-Road-Worksop)

I have added this unknown pub, which I spotted yesterday just a few doors along from the Oddfellows Arms in Worksop. It has been converted into flats, but it has clearly been a pub until fairly recently. I have added a photo in case someone recognises it. However, I'm not sure if "(unknown)" is good enough as a temporary name. If you can make the photo available in some other way, please do so.

Cheers

There is a brief history of Worksop's pubs in the attached link that mentions several pubs that may help to eliminate a few potential ex-pubs in town but nothing that will positively identify the one in question...

I didn't get that far from the town centre when I visited earlier this year.

I have just found a reference to a pub called the Peacock on Netherton Road Worksop but I can't find anything else about it.

I think that it may be the Peacock (http://www.worksopheritagetrail.org.uk/resources/worksop_history_4.pdf). I also found a flat for rent in the Peacock Inn on Netherton street.

That link is exactly where I saw it.

Excellent work there Del & Strongers. Just looked up one of the pages on Rightmove (http://http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-22313459.html) that has a flat for rent at Peacock Inn and the photo is of the right building.

Peacock Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/71906/) now added to the site, nice one! :notworthy:
