This is a Thai restaurant, not a bar.

Hi Spinko. Sometimes what qualifies for the site is a bit of a grey area. Basically, if you can visit premises for just a drink without food and not be charged admittance then it's probably OK. See here for an in depth discussion (and a link to an even older discussion!) http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?4304-What-type-of-pubs-should-we-include-here&highlight=review+criteria

I had a look through that discussion and thought better of wading in!! However I live around the corner from Chaophraya and have never heard of anyone going for just a drink there.

Hi Spinko, a&h,

Thanks for pointing out that thread a&h, as Spinko seems to still think it is a frivolous entry I have gone ahead and deleted it, the venue has no reviews, if someone re-adds it with a review then we will look at it again.

You should feel free to wade in Spinko, the site is constantly involving, and I am always happy to see discussion going on the forum.

Thanks for letting us know about that.

Chaophraya Bar Manchester is also a restaurant in the same chain, but they have a bar area and are happy for you to go in for a drink and lots of people do, including me.

Don't know about the Leeds one but it may well be the same.
