I think this person only joined because of the original vote in August. I would guess that he lives in or near Cardiff.

Steelebreeze is my friend Ian who has been on most of the recent PuG crawls and would like to join in on the next one, hence the vote. Maybe he should have introduced himself ,but I can assure you he does exist and lives in Horsham.

Brian.Steve,Clive and Nige ,also regular crawl participant will most likely be on the next one but haven't voted so far but have noted the December 21st end date.

Hope this clears things up.

Thanks Nev. Funny how the absence of information makes the imagination work overtime!

Horsham is an awful long way from Cardiff...

Knowledge is a good leveller ,on a subject I was going to bring up this evening.

It does! Thanks. An intro would have been useful, given the Gus saga of the last few days I assumed we might have another on our hands.

Not currently, plus there's still seven more days to go.

And over night the leader re-emerges, nip & tuck.

That would be Plaid Cymru voters then?

It was Cambridge according to the last poll too; not quite sure why we had a re-vote.

We should move quickly to find a date. To answer Tris's question the re vote was to discover if there was a popular alternative to Cambridge given that there will be regular weekend disruptions to the train service into Cambridge throughout 2024 due to new signalling in the area and also the construction of the four track new Cambridge South station.

However the die is cast and Cambridge it is. I'm no expert on rail distruption but looking at the journey planner on the National Rail app,Saturday disputions are happening on Saturdays 3rd Feb,17th Feb and 2nd March and thats as far forward as can be viewed. The pattern seems every other Saturday but thats only a guess on my part.

The previous crawl was abandoned because of this rail disruption ,but there are folk on here who would like to do a Saturday crawl.

So simple question should we make Cambridge a Friday only crawl,or should we also poll for Saturdays and take our chances...again.?

Should we refer this to the supreme court?

Personally I think Saturdays should be included despite possible problems, last time the trip was still doable for me despite the irritation of an extra 30 minutes travel time, taking into account my 9 hour trip to Sheffield earlier this year that pales into insignificance. :D However and whatever the decision we should push on with a poll asap.

Agreed and poll organised,I have simply excluded one Saturday due to rail disruption, and also Easter weekend .
