The Willamsburg Ale Through the Ages conference. Lots of amazing talks from the other speakers. Way better than my formulaic run through UK brewing In WW I.Plus, I got to hang out with some of my fellow beer history nerds. Some of the best discussions were in the after parties. When we all hung out and swapped weird beers and sensible thoughts.
Makes me feel very positive about the future of beer history. As I definitely won't be around forever. Especially with my current cough.
