If you only had time for one beer in Monmouth where would you go ?

I'll be passing through some time next week. I'll be driving so one beer only - could possibly do 2 halves I suppose!

It's been a few years since I was there last but none of the pubs leapt out then as being especially wonderful. Monmouth is not the easiest place to park in, although there are a couple of supermarkets if you are not staying too long. Sorry I can't be more help.
