Quality week:

Blythe Hamstall Hop*
Slaters Haka*
Front Row Brewing Rucked*
Wilde Child Obsidian Phantom
Tamworth Brewing Co. Whopper*
Mallinsons US Premium*
Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild*
Abbeydale Moonsine*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*

All were good and the Hamstall Hop deserves a mention as a green hopped beer brewed with a hop rocket, ooo errr, which passed the 3 pint test with ease.

Against stiff competition BOTW was Tamworth Brewing Co Whopper drunk in the outstanding Tamworth Tap (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/86219/) where it's brewed. A well hopped, 6.5% IPA which reminded me of Oakham Green Devil IPA. Excellent.

Some real quality with the BBF Milk Stout only narrowly pipped by Blythe Palmers Poison in the Rusty Barrel (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/86278/).A brew named after a notorious Victorian murderer from Rugeley, its a terrific brown best bitter and in no way boring.

Next week a cheeky trip to central Bradford, here's hoping for great ale.
