Afternoon all,

If you're a fan of Harveys, or a lover of traditional breweries, you may be interested in an article about Miles Jenner (the head brewer) in today's Morning Advertiser (http://www.morningadvertiser.co.uk/news.ma/article/88108?dm_i=A9M,8002,17JVEB,KDU9,1).

He has a few interesting words about the local competition and I particularly liked his aversion to making Sussex Best more widely available ("There’s no joy in coming back to Sussex if Harveys is everywhere") - perhaps Sharps might like to think about this?

Enjoy your weekend beers. I'm off to East Kent. I fear there will be Sheps:rolleyes:.

And if you ever get the chance to get a brewery tour from Miles, abanbon all other plans and head for Lewes!

He comes across as an absolute gent. Very old school.

I still haven't done Harvey's justice. Was hoping to get to the Royal Oak, Borough when I visited the market earlier this year. Unfortunately, ran out of time.
