Monthly Stats: July 2010

In July 2010 there were 166,000 visits to the site, a nice healthy increase on the 145,000 in June and the 136,000 a year earlier in July 2009. We had quite a large increase in people coming to the site looking at our beer festival listings and there were some encouraging signs that our Google listings were improving a touch.

Activity for the month on the site was:-
3,158 photos of 1,637 pubs
1,171 reviews added of which 628 were virgin reviews
422 new pubs suggested (of which 395 accepted, 342 open, 53 closed)
460 map points corrected
420 web links suggested
236 new users joined
119 beer festivals suggested
148 pubs reported closed
21 pubs reported open

This compares to July 2009 when we had:-
3,848 photos of 1,427 pubs
280 reviews added
277 new pubs suggested
416 map points corrected
200 web links suggested
145 new users joined
20 beer festivals suggested

The forum had 1,754 posts, compared to 14 in the same month last year.

I suspect that next month is when the forum stats will start looking a little healthier.
