Back in March Millay did the rather fantastic Thread of the month poll (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?2002-Thread-of-the-Month-Poll-March-2010&highlight=thread+month). I have been pondering how to do it again as I struggle to remember the threads, so I reckon if we just use this thread to add threads that are going by this month and worthy of a vote, then at the end of the month I will turn it into a poll so that we can remember some of the classic conversations we have had.

So my starter for 10 this month has to be the rather easy nomination of Soup Dragons, how many different pubs? (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3269-how-many-different-pubs) Either a tale of 1 man's attempt to try and rescue the publican trade, or 1 man's attempt to tempt others down his sinful path (choose your perspective).

Just reply with any threads that are showing potential for classicness this month and we can shove them in a Poll at the end.
Options ended up being:
How many different pubs? (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3269-how-many-different-pubs)
Daft quote of the week (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3621-Daft-quote-of-the-week)
Is reviewing pubs a chore at times (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3562-Is-reviewing-pubs-a-chore-at-times)
Are pub reviews 'accurate'? (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3590-Are-pub-reviews-accurate)
The end of the Woolpack ?? (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3579-The-end-of-the-Woolpack)

A quick reminder to get some nominations in, I am going to suggest Daft quote of the week (http://forums.pubsgalore.co.uk/showthread.php?3621-Daft-quote-of-the-week), truthfully I don't think anything will stand against the might of how many different pubs, so I may push that one on into next month if it continues to develop well.

I found these two entertaining and will nominate them,

Is reviewing pubs a chore at times?

Are pub reviews 'accurate'?

This one is bubbling under but might sink without trace -

The end of the Woolpack ??

I'll sort this thread out on Wednesday, probably wont be around enough tomorrow. Will archive and start a new pub of the month then as well.

Ok, made this into a poll, the options are listed in the first post if you want to refresh your memory.

You can vote for more than one thread although I suspect the winner is fairly easy this month. Let me know if you enjoy this and I will kick off another thread in a similar vein during September, where maybe some of those that miss out this month can be re-nominated if they stay lively enough.
