I certainly agree with those three. There was a film called Zabriskie Point that used a version of the Floyd Careful With That Axe Eugene in the final sequences. Films were also made of Woodstock and the less famous predecessor Monterey.

I'm not much of a film buff, but I do remember that one!

Obviously a flexible definition of sound track, my favourites include

A Clockwork Orange
Barry Lyndon
2001 A Space Odyssey
Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii
Blade Runner
Chariots of Fire
Tommy
Oliver
Get Carter
Gladiator
Gallipolli
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Most of Morricone's film and TV music is excellent and rates with the giants of film music, Dimitri Tomkin, Max Steiner, John Williams and Hans Zimmer. There's also for TV Jan Hammer (Crockett's Theme) and Mike Post (Hill Street Blues).

Obscured by Clouds is the soundtrack for a film called La Vallee. I've never seen it and ObC isn't the greatest Floyd album.

PS: Forgot Klaus Doldinger for Das Boot.

This Brian Pern (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAwVaa1DLyQ) spoof using The Day of the Triffids is great. Roger Moore was chosen as narrator as like Burton, he was one of the Wild Geese!
