After the furore over prize aerosol Mike Ashley's claim earlier that Sports Direct were going to stay open what else is open that shouldn't be?
I spotted a kebab shop in Wood Street this afternoon that looked open.
I passed 2 launderettes that were open which is probably OK.
Should "convenience stores" be open?

Not on track with the intentions of this post, in fact totally off piste , but back at the end of the last century I spent a couple of years as a postman, knocking on a door one day delivering a parcel the door was opened by a woman approximately 25 years my senior, I was in my late 30's, she was wearing a dressing gown, lets just say it was ajar, something that should have definitely been closed.

See this in the exceptions column (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/further-businesses-and-premises-to-close/further-businesses-and-premises-to-close-guidance)

Not been out since Thursday night so seen nothing.

Read this earlier GOS is just up the road from me with I knew it was giving freebies for takeaway (https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/whats-on/coronavirus-pubs-closing-old-spot-3975683)

Takeaways, tick. Launderettes, tick, corner shops, tick, market stalls fruit & veg and grocery, tick. Florists, no tick.

I take your point about it being off piste but your "Confessions Of A Postman" have made it worthwhile for me!

That list has changed in the last 24 hours as off-licenses were not exempted before, phew.

Yes that was a download I was sent by a friend that was on my phone, as Halfords were not opening and then they became essential workers first due to bike sales for exercise but then for the obvious bit, if essential workers need to keep their cars legal/working to get to work.

I was sent the Off Licence update earlier from him as well. Better Times......

And brewery shops are exempt - guess where my next crate is coming from.
