A very atmospheric pub,Dickensian with normally reliable Landlord but on this visit three pints of Proper Job slipped down easily.A Thames Path must visit.

This (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/63643/) one just made it into January and is Black Country Ales latest offering. It's a big deal for them as they also offer cooked food and accommodation. For the Heritage buffs it's also got loads of old tiling, M & B windows and I'm sure other things that passed me by. There's a massive choice of beers and a few ciders with fifteen pumps in the front right drinkers bar and a further ten in the left food bar.
Other plus points are that it's just down the lane from Stourbridge Junction Station and like the sister pub in Stourbridge has a Batham's pub nearby.
