The "Casque Mark" logo is not on the PuG page for this one

When I visited in late May it had casque marked ales on, and I have just checked on line with Casque mark and find it listed

Is it me, or them?


PS, just noticed the Pier House, also Charlestown, does not have logo


Maybe because they are under St Austell in your personal guide? They are under St Austell on line Casque Mark

Hi Farway,

We have the full list of Cask Marque pubs, but it we have only fitted the ones that we can easily match on our system. The problem will almost inevitably be in the postcode on either their list or ours. In the case of the Rashleigh Arms (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/5054/) we had the postcode wrong. In the case of the Pier House (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/66851/) they instead have it listed for the Harbourside Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/64287/), I am not sure if they are 2 distinct places and if both hold the Cask Marque.

At some point we are going to have to properly analyse their list and manually work out what is going on with all the ones that are not listed. It is a lot of work though, I would like to enlist the aid of the forum, but at the moment we don't have the tools you would need to do it (we just hack the database here in a fairly rough and ready way). It is hard to find the time to do it as there is very little in it for our site (although it is very nice to be able to mark the Cask Marque pubs). If the GBG were to suggest we could list them I would have to pull my finger out and build the tools necessary as that would be part of a similar development.

Anyway, if you just let us know any you spot we can manually check them and do them for now.

I suppose it does not help that the Pier House and Harbourside are next door to each other, as you will see once I sort out the photos :o
