Confusing this one. Randy's NQ Nicholas Croft Manchester is now called The High Street Tavern. The High Street Townhouse (Before this the Stovepipe) at 60-62 High Street is now called George's Bar and Kitchen. Whatpub has got this one wrong, but could have been my fault a couple of years ago when i think i possibly might have changed the Stovepipe's name to The High Street Tavern instead of High Street Townhouse. If so please accept my apologies. Thanks

This is a confusing one!

The former Stovepipe at 60-62 High Street (between the English Lounge at 64-66 and a hotel called the High Street Townhouse at 58) definitely was called the High Street Tavern for a time, because I took a picture of it on 22 October 2018 (see attached). 1846

As you say, this building became George's Bar & Kitchen which opened on 27 June 2019. However, as far as I can tell from the limited details on its Facebook page, it shut again the following month following an unspecified "theft" (and its website is now defunct).

Meanwhile, the High Street Tavern seems to have relocated the short distance to the former Randy's NQ building.

So the question is, has the George's Bar & Kitchen now opened again?
