Visit the Shut up about Barclay Perkins site (http://barclayperkins.blogspot.com/2010/07/thank-you-barm.html)
Younger's. What crap brewing logs they kept. Bastards. Don't even mention the colour of the beer. Like Whitbread and Barclay Perkins did. Now I think I know why.
They were brewing all sorts of different coloured versions of each beer. Sneaky bastards.
I wouldn't have known this, but for this post of Barm's (http://refreshingbeer.blogspot.com/2010/07/colours-of-scottish-brewers-beers.html).
Wonderful stuff.
And it tells me XXPS was 70/-. What a thwacking result.
