White Horse - Stable Genius
Loose Cannon - Abingdon Bridge

Both at the excellent The Gardeners Arms (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/31724/). There were a couple of other very fine beers but at 11.45pm, I was too researched to remember them.

Wolverhampton,Birmingham,Holborn,Croydon.

Salopian -- Hop Twister *
Elland -- Lucky Dip
Dancing Duck -- Abduction *
Siren -- Undercurrent
Tiny Rebel -- Amplified Double Imperial Stay Puft Marshmellow Porter * (keg)
Mallinson's -- Tripical Blonde Sesh
Kirkstall -- Dissolution IPA *
Hammerton -- N7 *
Five Points -- Citrus Pale * (>3PT)
Reunion -- Isotonic (Sporting Pale Ale) *
Oakham -- Dragon * (3PT)

Some very fine pints and in any other week those starred could have taken BOTW but the decision goes to Dancing Duck Abduction,a strong pale beer in top quality condition as should always be expected in the fabulous Great Western. (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/39188/)

The Tiny Rebel Stay Puft derivative was a worthy runner up ,12.8% and £5 for a third but quite an experience.

Next week slow.

Itchen Valley Hampshire Rose
Kroenenburg
Steamtown Reefer

Dancing Man Limes Against Humanity*

Some very ,very good beers in the list but the two absolute standouts are Revolutions Switch~ 15 in The Cornubia (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/308/) and Vibrant Forest Shoal in The Dancing Man (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/83039/), both great pubs in different ways, I shall pick the Shoal as BOTW as its fresher in the mind ,taken only five hours ago, both worthy winners though.
Next week back to normality .

Surrey,Kent:

Marble-Trials #3-5%abv .A double dry hopped pale ale.Tropical fruit.A real hop salad, the qualities of the individual hop varieties couldn't really shine through.
Thornbridge Hall-Lumford-3.9%abv.Grassy hops,gentle fruit.
Surrey Hills-Shere Drop-4.2%abv.A worthy champion beer, approachable and upstanding.
Kent-FestivAle-3.9%abv.Brewed for The Milk House (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/59023/) 's MilkFest.Barley straw,nettley hops.OK.
My BOTW-Surrey Hills Shere Drop. The only beer drunk this week that I'd already tried, albeit once several years ago.Taken at the excellent Surrey Oaks (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/35618/)

Decent week by my standards:

Salopian Hop Twister*
Elland Lucky Dip
Dancing Duck Abduction*
Nene Valley Brewery Australian Pale
Buxton Axe Edge (keg)*
Burning Soul Ice Cream Pale*
Kirkstall Dissolution IPA
Oakham Mandarina Bavaria
Oakham Bishops Farewell*

It goes against the grain to choose a keg beer over an array of decent cask offers but BOTW goes to Buxton Axe Edge (keg). An outstanding IPA which I imagine would be superb on cask.

A decent list this week, but quite a few underwhelming beers, for one reason or another.

Ashover - Littlemoor Citra.
Salt - Mungo.*
Beartown - Bluebeary.
Wilde Child - Opaque Reality.

The easy winner was an old favourite, on cracking form at The Hop (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/66330/), Wakefield.

Drank willingly or consumed in the line of duty?

I never watched that programme so had to do some Googling of Vicky McClure to get the context of the above!!
I was somewhat aghast that the H reference might be connected with naff nineties pop group Steps!
The beer itself was quite pleasant.
