This pub has been in decline for the last few years with little or no investment. It’s largely relied on just a few hardy regulars who either can’t be bothered to find a decent pub or have been barred from them. Well it’s finally succumbed and has closed down. Seems there’s no chance of it re-opening as a pub as there are hand written notices in the windows announcing the arrival of an ‘Indian Buffet Lounge Bar Grill Restaurant’, so they’re keeping all their options open.
