The former Snug (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/35777/) in Godalming is now The Wharf Indian restaurant and bar. They do claim "pub" in their blurb so I guess they should remain.

It doesn't look much like somewhere you can pop in just for a drink but it says "bar" so benefit of the doubt. Thanks for the update.
