Can anybody identify this Rock Tavern?

There is no real clue but I would guess it is somewhere in the Midlands?

The squirrel looks like the Ansells symbol perhaps?

I'd say the mat is from the 80's or early 90's.

My old Black Country beer guide confirms the Allied Breweries connection with it doing Ansell's Bitter, Burton Ale and Tetley Walker Bitter. It also says Dress Code, smart casual, no jeans, no under 25s.
The Ansell's sign on the mat might suggest an earlier date than you suggest but who knows?
