Nothing new of particular note so going for The Alfred Free House (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/35750/) in upper Hale, a proper traditional locals pub with good beer.

The Bailiff's Tap (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/85595/)

Second visit during February and the ale choice rises to 4 on Fridays and the Weekend.A classic micro pub, quirky but friendly and a very good addition in Banbury.

The Shipwrights Arms (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/16050/) Recently reviewed on this site, though we've been several times over the years.A cracking proper pub, well worth the walk across the marshes from Faversham.

We used to sail there many years ago, the only other way to get there in Winter was by Landrover when it was wet, but it was always worth it. If you asked for crisps you would be informed - bluntly - that this is a pub, not a restaurant. Haven't been there for a while now but hope to review it some time this year.

Very hard to decide between these three:

The Jolly Brewmaster (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/12375/)

Fixed Wheel Brewery Tap (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/85669/)

But this one is really superb The Ale House (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/78958/) POTM

A housing estate pub in the outskirts of Dundee? A pub with no real ale? My POTM for February 2018 is the truly remarkable Clep Bar (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/48573/).

Camra historic pub interior of national importance: pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/historic-pub-interior-entry.asp?NatPubID=TAY/137&Detail=full (https://pubheritage.camra.org.uk/pubs/historic-pub-interior-entry.asp?NatPubID=TAY/137&Detail=full).
