Bought by Five Points. I think i have seen their beers praised in these pages?
Milton did ok with Pembury but it always seemed a bit soul-less to me, they never did anything to cover all that wall space and make it more pubby.

This pub had quite a chequered past and was closed down at least once for drugs related problems. I went to it as a Banks and Taylor pub back in the 1980s. Its survival is ironic in an area where so many pubs have closed down, rather like the Clapton Hart.
As for Five Points beer, I only recall seeing three a porter, a stronger American style red and a pale.

Liking Five Points Beers, but agree with Jim, a rather soul-less place, a sympathetic refurb could well work.

Its the beer from Milton that was the big problem with this pub. They have agreed to sell some Milton beers but they will struggle as Five Points beers are very good.

Agreed, Five Points are better. Too many Milton beers are predominately sweet.
