A visit to West Devon and Cornwall meant I spent a lot of time waiting for infrequent trains or sitting on various buses :-

Keltek Lance 4.0%
Exmoor Exiles Wicked Wolf 4.2%
Bays Gold 4.3%
Hanlons Brewers Blend 4.5%
Black Tor Devonshire Pale Ale 4.5%
Hook Norton Old Hooky 4.6%
Bays Breaker 4.7%
Cornish Chough Fire Raven 4.7%
South Hams Daddies Real Sauce 4.7%
Dartmoor Jail Ale 4.8%
Ringwood Fortyniner 4.9%

The winner is the Cornish Crown Porter in excellent condition for £2.29 at the Camborne John Francis Basset, probably the best JDW in Cornwall.

A more limited week than hoped for:

Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Hop Back Summer Lightening*
Marstons Bass*
Steaming Billy Billy
Lymestone Cherry Stone*
Beowulf Dragon Smoke*

BOTW Lymestone Cherry Stone. An interesting pale beer tasting distinctively of cherry but with a sensibly dry finish which invited a successful pass of the three pint test.

A few new ticks, but a pretty uninspiring bunch, on the whole.

Ramsbury - Flint Knapper.
Revolution - Candidate.
Ramsbury - Baby Bella.
Stancill - Stainless.
Kelham Island - Waterloo Sunset.
Five Towns - Breaking Glass.
Dancing Duck - DCUK.
North Riding - Citra Pale.*

Head and shoulders above the rest was the ever reliable Citra Pale, sampled in Harry's Bar (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/60167/), Wakefield.

Neptune Sea Monkeys. A 4.2% single hopped blonde beer, in this case using Pacifica hops.

Pleasant & easy drinking, but with plenty of flavour.

Probably named after an edition of QI when Jonny Vegas claimed he had Sea Monkeys living in his stomach.
