A difficult decision this month, found two cracking pubs in Southsea last Sunday, The Lawrence Arms (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/13999/) and The Phoenix (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/14018/) ( reviews to follow shortly), But I'm going with The Craven Arms (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/37562/) as POTM, a proper pub in every sense of the word.

shame about the location but as mentioned in a review it maybe saves it from property developers

A quiet month with POTM going to The Swan (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/34296/) at Fradley Junction.

Way better than on previous visits and therefore way better than expected. It even provided a BOTW.

I'm going for this (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/84492/) micropub. The owner is from NE England and knows the Rat Race in Hartlepool well. We had a right laugh comparing notes on the eccentricities of its owner. It's also a good micropub.

Despite a month filled with visits to noted pubs including Belfast's Crown Liquor Saloon (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/46394/) and Duke & York (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/46401/), as well as The Dove (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/22649/) and The Prospect of Whitby (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/54491/) in London, the real goodness only came at the end of the month with a mini-crawl in the Wimbledon area and the cosy oddness of The Trafalgar (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/24699/) was only edged out by the beer quality, welcome and ambience at the nearby Sultan (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/24693/).

Oaka @ The Mansion House. (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/24078/)

Probably too modern and not pubby enough for many, but if your a fan of Oakham and enjoy quality conditioning at more than reasonable pricing this place is well worth a visit. The thai bar snacks aren't too shabby either.

A clear winner this month: the Swan (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/57263/) at Halesowen (a Black Country Ales house).

After much indecision, and having taken the view that a pub visited late in October could have been visited in November, my pub of the month is The Black Horse (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/65514/) , a welcoming and not overly foodie house in a prosperous area of West Sussex.

The Crown Inn (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/31989/) POTM

But this was a very close second Sun Inn (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/68238/) - two excellent pubs

Are we not having a POTM for November 2017?
