I was quite taken with Thyme at the Tavern (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/35482/)
Maybe not the most interesting beer of the month but decent, and a refreshing pub that's making a go of it.

I'm going for something completely different this month and it's this (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/85159/) place. It's only open Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. If you're not a fan of Salopian beers then it's obviously one for the AVOID list but they are one of my favourite brewers and it's cheap.

I really enjoyed my visit to Artisan Ales (Old Tap Room) (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/83699/) so it's my POTM

Really? I had a quick half a few weeks back and couldn't wait to leave...

I liked the pub, quite an impressive place, but still Fullers, my 7/10 still stands.

Looks like it's a draw last month between two Halesowen pubs: the King Edward VII (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/38401/) and the Waggon & Horses (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/38423/) - not bad for a town of this size.

Two pubs that are no longer in the GBG-https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/10842/ and
The Farmers Arms (https://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/43891/) I'm a bit out of place in a town pub,so my pub of the month is The Anchor,Hartfield.

I stayed at St Davids over 35 years ago and the Farmers was then a Whitbread GBG listed pub. It was the only one I found and on a Saturday night was rammed. As for it being a cracking little City, I did enjoy looking down at the Cathedral but er, that's it really!
