Well it was given 10/10 by Ian Mapp after he'd walked a bit so clearly worthy..... 19/3 doesn't =10 based on other reviewed but it's subjective.

A bit far for me to go and visit tomorrow on way to parents to give it an 11.

Not far from me, I'll give it a go in the next couple of weeks. Being where it is , I expect noisy green wellied ya-yas, 67 reg Range Rovers in the car park and a no go area weekends if you want to sit down.

Amazingly, given the location, I've actually been to this place, albeit 11-12 years ago. I recall a fantastic setting, OK beer and very good food, with the lamb shoulder being particularly good.

I don't even know where Bledington is although I've been to Chipping Norton a couple of times.

Take it as a compliment Andy, it just started sounding that way as I read it... ;0|

Finally got there and, well, we doubled the number of customers (if you don't count the guy fixing the lights) yesterday afternoon. But it was a dreadful dark damp November afternoon. The other couple did have wellies on but drove an elderly Golf. Most tables set for eating with cruet sets ready for action on the rest suggest we caught a rare time when it actually functions as a pub.

The Twats are in the Xmas Viz trying to win over the once a year brigade. No prizes for guessing where their "amusing anecdotes" and "extensive knowledge" about beers gets them! Has someone grassed me up????
