The Swan (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/1756/). A very pleasing pub that despite being not too far from me, was a new pub for me.
A few very good ones last month, with three on the Isle of Wight - the Newport Ale House (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/78468/), Spyglass Inn (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/15430/) in Ventnor and Cowes Ale House (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/82892/) - just pipped by the Weighbridge (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/56089/) near Alvechurch.

The White Swan (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/27852/)
A very charming pub well worth a visit if you are ever in Twickenham.

I'm going for Ye Olde Vic (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/60123/) not far from the back entrance to Stockport Station.
The Grog And Gruel (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/50203/) in Fort William was very strong opposition.

The Organ Grinder (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/30733/), Newark.
Another winner from the wizards at Blue Monkey.

Finally got a new batch to choose from, with last week's jaunt to Hull. With an honourable mention for The George Hotel, my favourite was The Whalebone (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/52688/) an old fashioned back street pub, a short stroll from the city centre. A great choice of beer on the stumps and a cracking atmosphere when we called on a Saturday teatime.
