Minamalistic- a mid-week cold plus Laryngitis didn't help, as well as working all weekend. :moremad:
Red Cat Scratch
Hop Art Golden IPA
Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay
Fullers London Pride
Longman Long Blonde

The Scratch was good but I'll give it Longman Long Blonde Light drinking but flavoursome.

A bit of a quiet one, only Jaipur, 13 Guns and Shipyard IPA.

Thornbridge - Jaipur

A reasonable week.

Tarn 51 - By George.
North Riding - NZ IPA (Motueka).*
Whippet - English Whippet.
Titanic - Plum Porter.*
Fernandes - Red Rye IPA.*
Raw - Independence APA.
Beer Ink - Flagship.
Dr Mortons - Non Stick.
Ossett - Spellbound.*
Rat - White Rat.*
Welbeck Abbey - Henrietta Grande.
Phoenix - Black Bee.

The NZ IPA and the Plum Porter were both on fine form, at Harry's Bar, Wakefield. However, as the latter has been nominated several times down the years, I'll give it to the former.

Decent week:

Batemans Texan Triple Hop
Pheasantry Dark Ale
Saltaire Blonde
Burning Sky Aurora*
Orkney Red MacGregor*
Fullers ESB *
Tring Side Pocket for a Toad*
Aylesbury Brew Company Cellular*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Salopian Vortex*

Tricky one this week with the Aurora, Red MacGregor and Cellular all worthy contenders.
BOTW Salopian Vortex. Pale, citrussy and very drinkable at 4%. Three pint test passed with ease.

Decent enough week but have to agree with Aqualung, the 'spoons fest ,as experienced in The George, was very poor with some stillage ales badly out of condition, and dull festival brews.Tim needs a rethink.

Saltaire -- Blonde
Burning Sky -- Aurora *
Orkney -- MacGregor Red * (3PT)
Fullers -- ESB *
Tring -- Sidepocket for a Toad *
Aylesbury Brewhouse Co. -- Cellular * (3PT)
Adams -- Sloe Porter
Titanic -- Sea
Bent Spoke -- Braddons Bitter
Wild Beer -- Bibble

BOTW goes to Aylesbury Brewhouse Co. Cellular,a limited edition red ale on fine form in The Papermill,Apsley

Next week doesn't look clever.

Still loving Wittenden's tasting notes, but a vulpine beer? A first?
