I'm sure there's going to be plenty of blogs about #twissup, so apart from a brief overview of my experience of the day I thought I'd keep this blog a bit light-heard by presenting the unofficial #twissup quiz.

Firstly, a big thank you has to go to Coors and their representative for the day - kristym809 (http://twitter.com/kristym809)

Apart from arranging accommodation, a tour of the maltings and a tour of the White Shield brewery with head brewer Steve Wellington, she also put up with a group of 'pongy ale drinkers' discussing certain aspects of Coors' lager operation all day, and indeed all night. She also provided plenty of entertainment, including a debate on coconuts being a fruit or a nut.

Also thank you to Steve, who took the time to come in especially to show us the brewery, answer questions and ensure we had a few free samples with the buffet. As a bonus, when I asked one of the brewery tap's staff if there were any bottles of P2 available to buy, he went off to find out. 10 minutes later he comes back, sadly no bottles available but there is a little on draught. Happy days indeed!

The day was brilliant, with us starting in the Cooper's Tavern which had opened early for us. This was followed by a tour of the Maltings tower, and this followed by a tour of the White Shield brewery and a buffet lunch in the brewery tap. I must admit I was surprised by the tap having the appearance of more a gastropub than a traditional ale house though.

The evening was then ours, with a couple of pubs visited before returning to the tap. I think I'm right in saying that everyone enjoyed themselves fully.

Now, on with the quiz. I must warn you, this is aimed at the people that went, and probably won't be appreciated by those who didn't - sorry about that!

1) Which is the *best* lager, and for how long has it been the *best*
2) What is Home Draught going to do?
3) The name of a drink served with orange in it
4) Worthington E used to be exactly the same as another drink - what was it?
5)When a bit tired, and not sure if your hungry or not, what do you do?
6) Who is the human raisin?
7) Which drink did Grolsch replace in one particular establishment?
8) How do you prevent the Burton Snatch?
9) What did I mention to get Dave a little worked up?
10) Why is Cobra perfect with a curry?

Tie Breaker:
11) How many of us were there?

Enjoy!

Cheers!
