Morning all.
I've got an overnighter in Bristol this Thursday, and having written down The Inn on the Green (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/617/), my further lack of knowledge of Bristol's delights means I could do with some PuG assistance!
Can any of you good, good people suggest a further 5-6 good pubs in order for me to make a decent fist of my visit?
When the PuG Crew did Brizzol in Nov 14 this was our crawl..
Knights Templar
Barley Mow
Bridge
Seven Stars
Bank Tavern
- wildcard options (White Lion/Gryphon)
Three Tuns
- choice of Bag o' Nails or Small Bar
Navy Volunteer
Beer Emporium
Cornubia
Kings Head

The inn on the green is a mile up the road from my house. If wanting to stay on Gloucester Road, assume staying near it you've got lots to go to but if looking for real ale I suggest these. A lot of gastrofication has occurred round here so the others are cafe bars and the ones left for more of the locals.
The Wellington (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/719/)
The Drapers Arms (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/83494/) micropub
The Royal Oak (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/437/)
The Anchor (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/647/) recent refurb sees more real ale
The Annexe (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/217/)
The Lazy Dog (http://www.pubsgalore.co.uk/pubs/222/)
If getting bus in to city centre as per above list is good to pick from.
